Thermo-Mechanical, Oxygen Exchange Behavior Measurements of Mixed Ionic Electronic Conductor (MIEC) Thin Film- Depositing preferred-oriented ceramic thin film via pulsed laser deposition- Using in-situ stress sensor to measure Young’s modulus, biaxial modulus, thermal expansion coefficient, thermo-chemical expansion coefficient, oxygen nonstoichiometry, oxygen surface exchange coefficient and oxygen surface resistance of the mixed ionic electronic conductor- Combining high temperature x-ray diffraction and in-situ stress measurement to determine the thermo-chemical expansion coefficient, Young’s modulus and oxygen formation energy of a preferred-oriented MIEC thin films- Using stress relaxation to determine the effect of surface contaminants on the oxygen exchange behavior of the thin film MIEC- Using stress relaxation to determine whether the noble metal coverage can affect the oxygen surface exchange coefficient of mixed ionic electronic conductors. 2.
