      6th Grade Spelling B Pacific Academy, Surrey British Columbia Mar 2004 I won silver in my 6th Grade Spelling Bee because I misspelled 'siesta' as "C-iesta." I won silver because it was the elimination round and the eight contests before me spelled "mortgage" as moregij, morgauge, morgij, morgaj, moregej, morgage, moregage, morgig, and nobody knew about the silent t except the contestant who went immediately before me.
