      I was originally hired to be an assembler and technician for the Contrec line of flow computers, batch controllers, level monitors, and loop powered indicators. My duties grew to include inventory control, purchasing, inside sales, outside sales of these and other types of instrumentation and valves. My outside sales territory was the northern half of Alabama. This Company is now known as Contrec USA, LLC.

      I improved sales in 6 ways. First, I streamlined the inside sales and accounting paper flow process. Second, I called on customers evaluating their needs and determining the best product to offer for various applications. Third, I trained the customer on the products they purchased. Fourth, I was the field service technician and fixed problems when needed. Fifth, I screened prospective quality employees to fill needed positions. sixth, I functioned as the Vice President until the company was sold under the same name. Afterwards, I continued as the principle outside salesman selling the Magnetrol Product Line with other instrumentation and valves. I was instrumental in establishing the Magnetrol Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter and the Orion Aurora Magnetic Level Transmitter as a preferred Product throughout the Southern Company fleet of plants. Control Specialists’ territory was Alabama, Mississippi, and the panhandle area of Florida. Sometime after my departure, Control Specialists sold again and is now known as Fluid Flow of Alabama. Carter Company and reactivating previous customers. I served as a project manager during maintenance outages, installations of new or retrofit products, and I went on service calls with the technicians in my territory. My Product Management territory for Limitorque as a standalone product was Alabama, Mississippi, the panhandle area of Florida.
