      The Hardware Integration Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting standard point-of-sale hardware, configuration settings and tools that make the delivery of product configuration more efficient, secure and consistent. Manages both product hardware and software configuration that supports DRB’s business goals.• Develops and maintains hardware used within the Point-of-Sale environment that meet Industry Compliance Standards.• Develops and maintains custom computer operating system images and BIOS version/settings.• Develops and maintains router default configuration and firmware versions.• Develops and maintains setup tools to assist in automation and integration for internal and consumer applications.• Solicits and logs user requests for enhancements and corrections to hardware settings, setup tools, and documentation. • Works directly with PMO, contract manufacturers, vendors, and customers on new projects, ongoing enhancements, and field issues.• Collaborates with hardware vendors and manufacturers to create strategic relationships.• Works directly with purchasing team and vendors to prevent and resolve supply chain issues.• Assists in escalated Marketing, Installation, and Support issues as related to DRB hardware POS portfolio. • Reviews feature requirements and enhancement request, and attends Product Council meetings so hardware, settings and tools are kept current.
