  The Dividend Entitlement Clerk is responsible for processing the daily allocation of receivable payments, from issuers and depository agents. The payments of dividends, dividend reinvestments (DRIP), debentures, and maturities require the Dividend Entitlement Clerk's oversight to ensure proper tax treatment, and reporting standards are met. The Dividend Entitlement Clerk reports to the Operations Manager.- Process the allocation of assets ( cash or stock), received by the firm, resulting from Issuer Distributions, Debenture payments, and assets returned at Maturity, to the entitled beneficiary (Client).- To ensure the processing noted above is compliant with federal tax regulations and industry reporting standards.- Provide regular, timely and accurate reconciliation, of amounts received by the firm, and amounts owed to clients, reportable to the Operations Manager monthly.- Assist the Operations Manager in record keeping, and electronic filing, of monthly reconciliations. These files are to be secured electronically, for internal use and provision to external auditors; The storage of any physical files is sent and stored on the off site storage facility. Show less
