    • CrosCom

      Dec 1998 - Sept 2008
      Owner

CrosCom also had a security component which went to Iraq when I took the position of Assistant Program Manager for MCI. It was the first licensed security contractor in Iraq after the war. CrosCom provided all physical and personnel security services in Iraq for MCI. This was run in conjunction with my contract to act as MCI’s Assistant Program Manager.

    • MCI Corporation

      Mar 2003 - Sept 2006
      Country Manager

Moved to the commercial side of MCI and took all responsibility for MCI’s plans to move into Iraq and partner with the local phone company and others. I negotiated the first new correspondent contracts (4 so far) with the ITPC (the local Iraqi telephone company) since the war and found MCI a local partner to be their legal representative in Iraq. I was the lead on 2 consortium's that were to install IP based services in Iraq. This was to include a VoIP countrywide network. I was called in to assist on an installation of a Tier 1 IP node that MCI was working on in Kuwait City with United Networks.Working with MCI to perform logistic and liaison functions of MCI’s DOD contract to rebuild the Iraqi communications infrastructure. The first phase was the assembling of 1000 Tons of equipment and the hiring and staging of 30 personnel at Richardson, TX, then moving it all to Baghdad on 7 C5B’s. Phase two was the set up ofthe main site with an Ericsson GSM switch and an International gateway, setting up a VoIP backhaul system and integrating several other Government owned systems. The build out of the GSM network to 17 sites followed. As the security situation changed I decided on a security company and hired them to protect our teams. I also had the “Customer Facing Responsibilities” where I dealt with the customer representatives in Iraq as well as in the US. On this I worked on the installation of a commercial WiMax system and worked with the Iraqi Telco and Regulatory organizations. As we expanded the system to a total of 31 sites, I negotiated with the owners of all the new locations in Iraq and acquired the rights to the sites. I also negotiated all the licensing requirements for all the MCI projects in Iraq with the US Army and the Iraqi Government. I was also responsible for all security of the MCI physical sites and for all of the personnel. Show less

I supported the US and Iraqi Governments on several telecom, security and logistic projects. We also support two projects for DARPA and Joint Forces Command for Language services in Iraq. SIP Telecom is now lining up work in Afghanistan. While working subcontract work with EMW Inc, I moved from full time on SIP-TeleCom to full time on EMW work in Iraq until 2008 and then moved to Afghanistan for EMW. SIP-TeleCom continues to operate in support of EMW, providing goods and services as a sub-contractor. Show less

    • EMW

      Jun 2007 - Jan 2014
      Country Manager

As EMW’s Country Manager for Afghanistan, I am charged with several diverse sub categories. • Business Development, where I have brought in $60 Million in new business. • Head of Security for all personnel in Afghanistan as well as the resident SME for security construction for our personnel and our customer needs. Specializing in camera and sensor systems. I re-designed and re-built the CCTV camera system for Kabul International Airport. • Logistical support for 5 contracts.• Tier 2 and 3 support to the CCTV O&M contract on KAIA in Kabul. • Project Manager for the new Bagram Coalition Operations Center SCIF build out which is overall primed by CH2M-Hill and Yuksel JV. A SCIF construction project of 3000 Sq Meters. Completing all interior construction and finish work. I developed this from a personal contact lead into a $9M opportunity. • I have developed 2 large housing compounds and 1 smaller unit on 3 different bases, for the staff to live in since housing with the customer is limited and expensive; these are self sustaining. I have an excellent relationship with the varying Military personnel and our Civilian ISAF clients. • I have limited contact with the Afghan Government but that is mainly due to the fact that EMW is focusing on the ISAF and US Military clients. But should that change, I have several avenues to the Afghan’s. • I have recently worked to create additional revenue opportunities within our current contracts and our team has cleared over $2,800,000 in after contract award sales over the last 6 months. • I worked on the teams for an expanded rebid of our CCTV O&M contract, an extension of our existing CCTV contract to Kandahar Airfield and the Civil Works sub-contracts on the RCIED contract all while maintaining my other duties. Apr 2022 - Oct 2023
      Project Manager

Joined Dominion Electric as a Project Manager (as a contractor working through IRI) and took over the Transition Service Agreements (TSA) for the Sale of Dominion West Pipeline to South West Gas (SWG). This included the divestiture of over 70 physical locations that required cutover for the communications at mostly remote locations in the Utah, Wyoming and Colorado Mountains. Along with the transfer of two Data Centers and the split of the Server and Data therein. I had to co-ordinate between SWG’s 5 subcontractors and the new (ex DE) Mountain West Pipeline (MWP) personnel. The TSA has been partially extended due to the Sale of MWP to Williams Gas Pipeline and the fact that WMP was unable to build out new systems for control the network. Part of the TSA was to “untangle” the Dominion WexPro Gas operations from the TSA. This involved building a small Data Center and moving all of WexPro’s servers to that. Upgrading all WexPro’s FireWalls and making sure that WexPro’s data feeds from all the out sites was segregated from MWP and continued, without interruption. As the TSA continued I started work on the Telecom and Data transfer (TSA) for the Hope Gas sale of the West Virginia Assets of Dominion. Show less
