  Duties and Responsibilities: Reviewing Client issued P&I Drawings, GA drawings. Preparation of daily service and end of work reports. Preparation of request of inspection to Authorized inspector, Coordination with AI. Perform NDT inspections such as UT/MT/PT/LT, weld visual, fit-up, Dimensional Inspection and Hydro/ Pneumatic test witness and material receiving inspections, review of MTCs. Preparation of WPS as per Codes, Standard, Project Specification. Carrying out Procedure Qualification & Welder Qualification as per ASME Sec IX and AWS D1.1. Preparing and implementing Quality Control Procedures. Preparing Quality Assurance Plan & Inspection Test Plan. Material Inspection at the time of receiving. Reviewing Material Test certificates as per Material Specification, Codes & Standards and Project Specification. Witness / Monitoring of Fit-Up, Weld Visual, NDT (RT, LPT) & Pressure test. Carrying out Inspection at each stage as per Codes, Standards, Specification and QAP. Daily monitoring of welding activities, PWHT monitoring, consumable controls, Material storage monitoring. Review of all necessary documents before giving clearance for Hydro test. Preparations of MDR & ‘R’ forms and getting registered from National Board, as per client’s requirement. Calibration of Measuring Instruments and testing equipment and updating records. Controlling of all documents/updating of all exhibits to meet the requirements of Company’s QCM approved by ASME Audit, ASME Certificates & Stamp custodian. Listing out the Documents and documenting the project details Show less

  Review contract specifications and drawings and prepare the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Weld books, Test procedures and other QA documentations. Coordinate and cooperate with the construction, engineering departments and client/TPI for all the inspection activities. Perform materials receiving inspection /test to verify compliance with the requirements of specification and approved submittals. Reviewing Material Test certificates as per Material Specification, Codes & Standards and Project Specification Prepare and qualify PWPS, PQR, WPS, WPQ, shop weld plans and maintain the welder continuity.Preparation of Hydrostatic test packages and stage wise inspection reports. Attending Project kickoff meetings, PIM, weekly and monthly meetings and providing QA/QC feedbacks to the management. Witness and verify additional lab testing related to PQR, material testing, for acceptance as per project requirements and TPI arrangements. Prepare and present reports and metrics to the QA/QC Manager and senior management on the performance of the quality and safety systems. Conduct projects internal quality audit inspection and liaise with departmental managers concerning the correction of any deficiencies highlighted through the quality and safety systems. Preparation of request of inspection to Authorized inspector, Coordination with AI. Preparations of MDR & „R‟ forms and getting registered from National Board, as per client‟s requirement. Controlling of all documents/updating of all exhibits to meet the requirements of Company‟s QCM approved by ASME Audit, ASME Certificates & Stamp custodian. Surface preparation and painting inspection, coating thickness measurement by DFT gauges. Ensure periodic calibration for ovens, welding machines and other measuring Instruments and updating records. Preparation of final QC dossier (MRB) and handed over to the client.
