Theproblem is that the little amount of infrastructure designed to meet this demand responds to the needs of the hearing community and not necessarily the ones of the deaf community. The basic guidelinesof the project are based on body learning theory and self-discovery, in which haptic stimuli has a primary role in learning and design. The landscape is proposed as a fundamental principle of the project,due to the richness of sensory stimuli that it contributes to children's body development. The project´s location inside a public park serves as an enhancer, because the educational program, which isalso works a cultural program, functions not only as a connector between the park and the city but also between this minority group and the rest of society.
