      Development team lead to move an energy trading suite of applications and associated infrastructure from Manhattan to Monroeville, PA, and subsequently support these applications.• On go-live day, we did not experience any loss of trading ability• Modified software to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements• Lead project team to develop application to accelerate the month-end accounting book closing cycle• Designed generic application to download files from numerous energy trading web sites• Mentor developers and ensure that all changes were done with a common end-state visionDesigned, developed and supported an emissions monitoring application installed in all of Allegheny Energy's coal and oil-fired power stations. This application was certified by EPA meeting the 40CFR Part 75 requirements of the Clean Air Act.• Nationally recognized as being an expert in Continuous Emission Monitoring (40CFR75)• Through a series of continuous improvements, reduced the time it took to produce all quarterly reports from 30 days each quarter to 12 hours per quarter• Designed solutions for complex stack configurations which EPA published in their policy manual• In over 10 years of 24X7 operation, we had 0 hours of “maximum missing data gaps” due to software issuesParticipated in software development, installation and troubleshooting of 3 power station data acquisition system replacements. Designed and implemented communications interfaces to many external systems including Square D PLC’s, Westinghouse WDPF, and Bailey Controls. Designed algorithms to reduce the number of alarms that occur when plant is experiencing major equipment problems, thereby enabling operators to quickly identify the root cause problem and take appropriate action without interpreting 1000’s of unnecessary alarms.• Installations occurred without requiring any unit outages• Systems saved millions of dollars by preventing equipment damage and preventing expensive unplanned outages.       • Develop requirements and solutions for enhancements to Patient Flow Products. Our Patient Flow Products have experienced to consecutive quarters of record-breaking sales (Q2 2013 and Q3 2013).• Develop requirements and solutions for adding RTLS (Real-Time Locating System) for tracking equipment, staff and patients.• Develop requirements and solutions for adding smartphone technology (iPod/IPhone) to Patient Flow Products. These solutions reduced dependence on IVR and increased worker productivity such that the savings more than justified the cost of the devices.• Lead a User Experience (UX) initiative. This evolved into a UX Center of Excellence, and is now embedded into our analysis and design process.• Work with multiple clients to identify pain points, identify root cause, and develop solutions to solve problems. This work involved personnel at hospitals from bed cleaners and transporters, to nursing staff in patient units and ED/PACU, hospital bed control leadership, department managers and VP’s.• Work interdepartmentally within TeleTracking to assist in cross-functional collaboration. The various departments included Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Finance, Legal, HR, Technical Support, Implementation, Sales, Marketing and Avanti (TeleTracking Consulting Group).
