      I worked on a further project with A Different Drum Productions; I facilitated on the film project, which allowed young people who have been in care to have a creative outlet to explore their experiences of what makes a good foster care placement; I assisted in the filming and interviewing of participants.

      I was responsible for the creation of a new website on climate change and clean tech. I wrote my own articles and sourced others. Having only been in the job a short time I managed to secure an invitation to the Low Carbon Economy conference which was led by Gordon Brown (then Prime Minister), Ed Miliband and Peter Mandelson, I then assisted in interviewing Miliband and Mandelson.

      - NCVYS is a charity and their main focus is on lobbying the government on behalf of young people and voluntary youth organisations.- Project managed the Speaking Out small grants project, giving money to frontline youth organisations and writing the report for this in partnership with Children England.- Project managed the creation of a new website - Encouraged and facilitated youth charities to move towards becoming a social enterprise or CIC and further independence from funding streams.- Worked with young people in the organisation to visit other youth organisations and assess their levels of youth participation.       - Directed and produced a short documentary, whilst working full time, having received funding from New Pathways Film Fund, part of the UK Film Council.- The subject of the film was ‘The Enduring Fascination with Jack the Ripper’. The film shows a different slant on a well-known story, by focusing on the reality of the lives of the women who lived in horrific poverty in the East End. The final film premiered at the East End film festival in May 2010. - I was part of the voluntary team that organised Reclaim the Night 2013 in Oxford and this film was shown as part of the feminist film night.       - Workshop assistant on Common Ground, an intergenerational arts/ historical project with young people, to combat the fear of anti-social behaviour and postcode wars.- Facilitated young people creating an audio guide to the area by documenting both modern and historical narratives. - Led on the photography and filming of the area by the young people, which would result in an exhibition of their work, whilst working full time.

      - Project managed Alice’s Day, which is an Oxford-wide celebration of the first telling of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by Lewis Carroll to Alice Lidell, over 10,000 people attended.- Worked in partnership with senior stakeholders from key arts organisations across Oxford with whom I developed the programme and coordinated the outreach to schools for Alice’s Day- In the museum itself I worked across all strands, from events, to fundraising, to content and the building project and led on a wide range of projects- Programmed the 1001 project with Michael Rosen, the Curator of Stories, researching stories and sourcing and booking captivating speakers. - Developed the narrative for the Storyloom exhibition, led storytelling workshops, ran the Story Circle in my own free time, which was a relaxed setting where the volunteers can come to tell stories. - Project managed the Bodleian Press workshops and managed interns.
