  Vehicle Dynamics Researcher

  Research and study of the road vehicle dynamics with particular focus on the human driver behaviour. This project is based on the work done in 2005-2006 for my thesis, in which I developed a driving simulator where the system control loop is closed by the human driver. Subsequent developments have also concerned different typologies of VR models through 3D visualization (stereographic screen).

  Mechanical applications (patents) drafting and successive prosecution (substantial examination, opposition, patent extension, freedom to operate). Main purpose consists in providing the best strategy to protect the innovative products and methods developed by R&D Departments in several fields. Knowledge of Italian Intellectual Property Law (CPI), of European (EPC) and of PCT for international patent filing.

  Responsible of the Testing Department composed of 3 main units: Vehicle & Engine Benches for functional measurements, MTS Benches for static and dynamic characterization of products and Durability Benches for product validation. Testing Dept. is composed by 17 people (6 Engineers, 11 Technicians). I oversee department annual budget (P&L), investment proposals (CAPEX), testing development cost quotations (ED&T), and improvement projects related to department KPIs. Supervision of functional and endurance test activities on engine benches and on cars. Coordination of the performance measurement activities on the internal facilities and to the customer, ensuring their correct execution. Reviewing and approval of reporting. The Team comprehends 2 Test Engineers and 2 Engine Technicians. Definition of the engine test plan, preparation of the measurement set-up, execution of functional or durability tests on individual components or on the complete FEAD system, data processing of the acquired measurements with the purpose of an exhaustive report emission. Execution of both internal and customer measurement activities.
