  Matthew has a broad range of experience across retail, commercial, and residential typologies in scales from $500k to $100m. His approach to always staying curious with client briefs allows his project outcomes to maximise returns of client investment within the rapidly evolving constraints of market and authority expectations. Matthew has delivered projects throughout the various south-east Queensland councils as well as across regional centres such as Townsville, Mackay, Cairns, Gladstone, and Hervey Bay.Matthew has worked directly with some of the sharpest constructors in the region to develop highly buildable designs that make the most of tradesman skill, material availability and logistics planning. His teams are recognised as industry leading when it comes to BIM and getting the best outcomes from digital design documentation and management. Matthew regularly addresses client, consultant and contractor gatherings on applying BIM based methodologies to their design, documentation and procurement workflows.   As President for this family sailing club I have been responsible for the accreditation of the club as a Discover Sailing Centre to provide learn-to-sail opportunities for 7-12 year olds through the Tackers program and for teenagers and adults with the Start Sailing programme. I have also overseen other training initiatives including Club Level Race Officer, Powerboat Handling and Instructor qualifications. I have acted as Regatta Director for a number of State Championships and am currently working on my National Level Race Officer qualifications. Show less

  Yachting Queensland is the peak body for all forms of sailing in Queensland. It is a diverse organisation with key responsibilities that facilitate the management and development of Sailing in Queensland.In 2017, after having already served 3 years as a board member, I was elected to the role of President of Yachting Queensland.
