  Assist at events for aspiring university students to provide insight into what studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science entails Plan and setup for university events, while managing a small team of volunteers. Guide senior high school students on their pathway to their desired career. Present myjourney to university in front of students and teachers to provide insight into university life for the students. Mentor new students and aspiring leaders through group meetings and conferences. This involved representing the Science Leaders Academy at the Leadership and Mentoring Program in Science conference and science induction days. Provided guidance for grade 11 students, helping them develop an idea of pathways toward attaining their desired career. I also showed them ways to get involved at university through mentoring in programs such as Young ChangeMakers. Assisted new university students during their first semester in developing useful study andnetworking skills so they can make the most of their time studying. This was achievedthrough arranging weekly meetings with mentees. Collaborated with researchers in the Motor Control and Pain, and Neuromuscular Biomechanics labs at The University of Queensland. I assisted in current research projects on the shoulder joint and presented the study to my peers at the end of program showcase event. Completed online modules throughout the university semester to further leadership skills. Demonstrated the skills from the content at the end of program conference.
