New or unclassified work is assigned an importance level and added to the policy. This prioritization involves collaboration with many other groups such as DBAs, CICs, z/OS and application SMAs. Developed a report to detect unclassified DDF (distributed data facility) workload which are often a source of problems in performance. Developed drill down workload reports useful for investigating changes in resource use. Monitor workloads and report on resource consumption to management and other groups. Added Scheduling Environments which indicate the resources available on each LPAR. Revised job classes and initiator mapping.
