      Established all aspects of the development program, to include outreach to parents, educators, and the LD community for this transitional elementary and middle school, established to help prepare LD students to enter into mainstream independent and public schools. Established a Planned Giving and Major Gifts Committee. Created documentation of development department for PAPSA’s (Pennsylvania Association of Private School Administrators) accreditation process. Significant accomplishments:· Developed and improved Special Events revenues to over $90,000 yearly · Increased Annual Fund by 250%.· Exceeded first-ever $1 million Capital Campaign by $500,000 by increasing individual giving pool from less than 100 prospects to over 400 prospects and cultivating capital grant opportunities. (The success of this program enabled the school to add additional middle school classrooms, thereby expanding their scope to accommodate an enrollment increase from 72 to 104 students.) · Wrote successful grant requests totaling approximately 25% of the Annual Fund revenue. · Coordinated efforts of Board of Trustees and volunteers through this growth. As Director of High School Academics, I work with students to maximize their educational planning process through high school and college. Providing an after-school program with a college and career preparatory environment, soft-skills, job training, and life-skills in a mentoring and caring relationship, SquashSmarts hopes to change students' and families' perceptions about what is possible to achieve through dedication to education, fitness and squash.
