  EnergySavers is an award winning project in incubation at the Ryerson Centre for Urban Energy providing home energy retrofitting project needs assessments with competitively sourced contracting services, while advancing the regulatory and programming framework for local improvement charges based financing of energy and water conservation, and renewable energy generation. Our network of certified deep retrofitting service providers can replace furnaces, improve insulation, change windows, swap water heaters, install energy monitoring and update any system within the home to improve energy efficiency. As the General Manager I have advanced the project and business framework, developed building envelope and systems evaluations methodology, created RETScreen based reporting protocols, established organizational objectives and goals, and managed community outreach teams of 100+ volunteers. - Lead application and presentation to Ontario Centres of Excellence David McFadden Challenge in Energy Entrepreneurship, - Trained Ryerson Building Science and Architecture students identify energy and water waste within the home to provide solutions and behaviour modification strategies to reduce utility costs.   As a collaborate institution Ryerson University encourages teams of interdisciplinary graduate and PhD students to come together to address specialized research opportunities. As an undergraduate member of the Ted Rogers Energy Policy and Technical Challenges research team my focus was the development of a methodology to analyze the financial impact of energy conservation on gas and electricity utilities resulting from local improvement charges based financing of residential energy retrofitting. With over 40 stakeholders input I was successful in creating a reasonable window of expected financial losses associated with energy conservation programs that do not reside within Ontario Energy Board mandated Conservation and Demand Management programming.
