I also became familiar with Oracle’s accelerated implementation methodologies including “Fast Forward” and “Special Edition”.

      I joined iFactory Consulting, about a year after it was founded. I was appointed as a director about a year into the tenure. The continuum of responsibilities was very broad, ranging from executive leadership to involvement in the sales cycle, to involvement in the hiring of employees, a to a variety of delivery roles at clients. I headed up a team that was developing an internal implementation methodology “The iFactory Way”. I also led the internal team focused on Oracle’s rapid implementation methodology, “Accelerate”. My client delivery roles during this time included managing iFactory’s Oracle E-Business Support Teams at Wesbank and at the University of Johannesburg, Solution Architect Roles at Assore (Mining) and REDISA (Recycling), Project Manager Roles at Telesure (Insurance), AA Autobay (Insurance), Regent Insurance, Prasa (Railways), Metro Rail, University of Johannesburg, Rand Merchant Bank, First Rand Group. During this time, I was a Committee Member of the Oracle Architects Club, I delivered presentations at the Oracle Architects Club and at an Oracle User Group Special Interest Group event. I twice attended Oracle Open World in San Francisco and attended Oracle Cloud World in Dubai. I once again had the opportunity of delivering E-Business Suite Training courses at Oracle University. I continued to invest in my skills development while at iFactory and completed my second degree, a Bachelor of Computer Science. I successfully completed an Advanced Diploma in Project Management, the TOGAF 9 certification, and became an Oracle Certified Professional in E-Business Suite Financials. I joined Toastmasters completing their Competent Communicator and Advanced Communicator Bronze levels. I became familiar with, and used, Oracle’s Unified Methodology (OUM). I also successfully completed the OUM Level 5 Certification. iFactory grew and became a leading Oracle Partner in South Africa before being acquired by Dimension Data / NTT in 2015. Show less
