As a Traffic Controller I am the first point of contact for all transport (inbound/outbound). In addition to that, I create and evaluate transport documents and communicate with various departments, including colleagues from the warehouse to ensure all inbound and outbound traffic are flowing smoothly. • Inbound Planner: Create, manage and monitor the inbound planning (orders booked for delivery by suppliers). Furthermore, communicate and or escalate all updates and issues relating to the inbound flow to all essential stakeholders. • Container Planning: Coordinate with our Warehouse Manager to create inbound planning for containers arriving at the port in Amsterdam, ensuring timely arrivals at our Distribution Center in Den Bosch. • Outbound Planning: Collaborating with our engineering team, I play a key role in creating outbound planning to facilitate on-time deliveries to our valued customers. This includes monitoring and resolving customer order flow on a weekly basis, as well as addressing any issues or requests from clients. • Quality/Issue Management: Working alongside our Quality Coordinator to assess all quality issues related to inbound shipments, especially those concerning damages. Notify the necessary stakeholders and diligently monitor the damage resolution process until the issues are effectively resolved. Show less
