  Technical Support Intern

  As a Technical Support Intern in the UFPA's Central Library i was responsible for aiding and instructing the institution's employees with any technological problem. Besides that, i was given the opportunity to learn, configure and maintain a variety of Linux servers and services. That lead me to a passion for the Unix system and all it's possibilities.   Software Developer Intern

  The Emílio Goeldi Museum is among the major research institutions in the Amazon region and Brazil overall. The technology team is responsible for the maintenance of the institution's network and a data center that hosts dozens of critical systems which serves thousands of users. As a Software Developer Intern, i was accountable mostly with frontend tasks. After some time i was given the opportunity to develop and maintain most systems in the institution, as well as implement new solutions to a variety of problems. My biggest contributions were:- Finishing developing and launching the institution's 150 years portal (Plone, Javascript, CSS);- Giving maintenance to the older portal (Drupal);- Developing and giving maintenance to the Brazilian Journal of Ornithology (OJS);- Starting and coordinate the usage of a Git tool for code management.- Developed and deployed an IoT solution for the data center (see projects).You can see some of my work bellow Show less

  As a Software Developer i received more responsibilities on the institution's projects. Among those newly acquired responsibilities was full control over some critical features in the organization, from feature idealization to release and monitoring. As well as the opportunity to integrate with some of ours partners.One of the passions that i rediscovered was the creation of tools, that i could share with my peers, to facilitate my daily tasks. One of those was a monitoring and notification tool that could automate my need to keep tabs on daily process. And my favorite was a Intellij plugin which integrate with a Grails Plugin to write scripts directly in the system. Show less As an intern in the Software Developer team at Acception i could develop functionalities and solutions for a variety of financial projects in the institution, some of the most interest projects were Mooz Cartões and Mooz Boletos. For those projects we used Groovy and it's web framework Grails.Initially, it was difficult to understand, work and solve problems on the financial domain but i ended loving all the complexity as it gives me the opportunity to learn new things every day and greatly develop as a software developer and professional.   Planning, design and development the Chargeback solution for the company. We used AWS tools and integrated with Mastercard and Visa chargeback platforms. Contributed to the Transactions team helping process millions of transactions daily and generating accounting events for each one.
