Attending project meetings and reporting accurately on all financial aspects on the procurement function. Liaison with various Government bodies including but not limited to DGFT, Customs & CHA on regular basis. Fully conversant with Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Corporate BG, collection of C –Forms & necessary banking formalities. Deal effectively with Freight forwarders and CHAs for import consignments and need be with custom officials. Monitoring the supply and delivery of materials both inside and outside the company. Arrangement of High – Sea Sale Agreement with Clients & necessary endorsements during Import. Able to ensure the company's commercial interests are protected whilst recognizing and exploiting commercial opportunities to maximize returns or minimize losses. Interaction with Customer to monitor the quality of service they are receiving; responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone. Regularly negotiate with key vendors/ transporters for rates and services & pro-actively resolve issues concerning imports & exports & Delivery Logistics including import/ export and inland transactions for Overall Coordination with supplier/ customer for managing end to end deliveries. Order processing and Invoicing of Vendors Management using ERP ; MIS reporting & Team Playing Updating knowledge of EXIM documentation, customs procedures for imports/ exports, Inco- terms & independently handling multi modal transport, warehousing Show less
