It was a difficult task to meet the supply demand. Challapudi Nagaraju, who joined us in Feb’15, took the responsibility of meeting this target. He stretched his work hours significantly, worked over weekends and ensured that we could supply 230MT of vegetable seed for domestic market on time.Besides, he made significant contribution in the seed blending process to reduce number of batches to increase inventory utilization. Through his efforts, we could reduce 85% of batches and liquidated 7 MT of over shelf life inventory. This helped us from writing-off the over shelf life inventory and make good savings.
