  Designed and executed experiments to study interactions between polymer surface modifications and microbial behavior, contributing to advancing antimicrobial strategies for applications in medical devices and biomaterial development. Utilized plasma etching, goniometry, SEM, AFM, and XPS to characterize surface modifications. Ascertained the relation between surface chemistry and drug-resistant cellular behavior.Investigated microbial adhesion to treated surfaces using confocal microscopy and performed geneexpression analysis of Candida albicans under stress using qRT-PCR.
