Worked with the Professor and their graduate student for a minimum of 75 hours on a research project in social and moral development. Completed and submitted an abstract and poster based on the research. After completion, was able to present the research in a conference.

  Working with neurodivergent children ages 3-12. I was supported by a team of social workers, early childhood educators, therapeutic coaches, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, teachers and students. Responsible for planning therapeutic and respite programming for children using Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and emotional regulation techniques.

  Responsible for working alongside a supervising Professor over two semesters on a research project in the field of psychology. Specific deadlines had to be met throughout the process, including a poster presentation and a final submission of the thesis. The project focused in the field of social psychology looking at infant-mother dyads and quality of interaction.

  Children's Team Therapeutic Coach

  As a therapeutic coach at Now What I was supervised by a team of Social Workers, BCBA, SLP and OT to implement a therapeutic day program to clients aged 4-12 who were looking to supplement current educational supports, and needed more focused support with communication, transitions, elopement, or behavioural dysregulation. This program was individualized to clients and designed to optimize funding through a holistic team approach. This program serves a neurodivergent demographic with diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, ODD, GDD, anxiety, FASD, etc. Show less

  Autism Therapist

  Lansdowne Children’s Centre provides both Foundational Family Services and Fee-for-Service care for families. As an Autism Therapist on the Autism Services team I get to be apart of all of these services. Providing 1:1 individualized ABA to autistic youth ages 4 to 18, supporting the Entry to School program, Urgent Response Services, monthly social groups, creating foundational resources for the community, and clinics for parents seeking individualized support.
