Utilities tracking software that automatically gather electrical, gas, and water data. Data is displayed in a web based dashboard that allow easy share of information. The software also uploads the data into Energy Star Portfolio Manager. As part of my responsibilities as the Facilities utilities/Energy manager at SLC. I had to track utility usage for 72 different buildings. The current method required manually data entry into 72 different excel files. This process was time consuming and was often out of date.I looked at I looked for already developed solutions but only found solutions that were extremely expensive. Come to find out that these solution had to manually enter the data into database. To solve this solution, I reached out to a business that has been gather data for over 12 years and we developed a low cost solution that automatically gather the data multiple times per month.
