Completed the 4.5MGD North Regional Tertiary Treatment Plant valued at $120M that consolidated sewage into a singe treatment facility and transferred O&M from Government to Contractor. Completed Base-wide 12kV Electrical Expansion valued at $150M that transferred O&M from San Diego Gas & Electric back to the Government through three 69kV to 12 kV meter substations. Completed Operations Access Point, Green Beach rail way bridge valued at $21M six weeks ahead of schedule providing Marine Corps Training access to the Pacific Ocean for the Northern Camps. Show less As Director I had direct control of three Branches. The Project Management and Engineering Branch developed and executed construction projects from design to ribbon cutting. The Acquisition Branch, handled all contract administration of the Firm Fixed Price Base Operating Services (BOS) contract as well as construction/service Task Orders awarded under the BOS contract; the Acquisition Branch also handled the negotiating and award of various Task Orders to the incumbent IDIQ Construction Contractor. The Facility Management and Facility Services (FMFS) Branch trained and inspected the various Annex owners to properly rate the BOS Contractor’s performance in the execution of the contract requirements. The ratings of the Annex owners ultimately determined the appropriate Award Fee for the BOS Contractor. Show less
