P. 50(a).Researched and drafted briefs on 24 dispositive motions. Earned an exceptional track record—of the 19 motions that have been decided thus far, federal courts have granted 12 in full and 5 in part, resulting in summary judgment or dismissal. Negotiated 12 favorable settlement agreements after carefully evaluating the claims, defenses, and evidence in each case. Served as counsel on complex and high-profile cases, including a putative class action and reversed conviction cases.Handled all aspects of civil litigation from inception to conclusion: interviewed prospective clients, filed responsive pleadings; attended court conferences, filed letter motions and adjournment requests; reviewed and produced discovery, served document requests and interrogatories, interposed objections and responses to adversaries’ requests; prepared witnesses for testimony, took and defended depositions; negotiated settlements at conferences, at mediations, out of court, and through offers of judgment; researched, wrote, and argued discovery motions and dispositive motions pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(6), 12(c), 41(b), and 56; drafted all pre-trial filings, including motions in limine, requests to charge, joint pre-trial orders, and voir dire questions; conducted jury trial proceedings.
