This includes conducting classes, creating classes and on the job evaluations of technicians. Responsible for all aspects for sprinkler, fire pump and backflow in the newly formed Central Indiana District. Responsible for "in the field" training of technicians within my region. Working side by side with technicians to teach, show and do various aspects of inspection and repairs of sprinkler, fire pump and backflow. Conduct service and repair classes in the Koorsen Training Center throughout the year. Responsible for all aspects of sprinkler service, additions and repair as well as foam systems service, foam sampling, Fire Pump service and repair.Layout repairs, design additions. Prepare all bids for repair work, order materials and schedule/coordinate with customers. Service and maintain clean agent suppression systems for various customers. Design and install pre-engineered suppression systems. Inspect, test and repair backflow preventers.
