  I volunteered three times a week at a 365 acre organic farm. I learned and assisted with all aspects of the crop cycle and preparation necessary in the operation of a lucrative organic farm. I operated many different farm vehicles. Learned how to sprout and transplant many different species of vegetables. Learned about and implemented the use of certain flower cultures to promote pollination and provide a natural insecticide. The most important thing I learned was how to integrate specific farming practices that are specific to the constraints of the land, IE working with the land and not against it. Show less

  I was a chain man. I worked with a team of engineers and other subcontractors to ensure that the layout for new construction projects mirror the two dimensional blueprints. We use math and a computer called a total station to translate two dimensional drawings into the three dimensional space. We record the topography of land for new construction, and also record the dimensions of new construction to ensure the safety and structural integrity of what ever the project may be working on.
