  Taught the Owner Builders Course via the Queensland Governments Syllabus, each course was given in two modules over 2 Saturdays, once a month. The successful participants were then allowed to apply to the QBCC for an Owner Builders Licence.

  Worked within the Prestige Arm of Cavalier Homes as Senior Estimator. Homes worked on ranged from $1M through to $3M. Used Databuild for creating Bills of Quantities through to ordering out materials and labour alongside cost/budget control. Worked on Timber Frame construction through to full masonry, suspended concrete structures.

  ■Worked on Building Insurance Claims in the Toowoomba region after the 2011 Floods.■Worked and completed Cyclone Yasi Recovery project (was based in Cardwell in Nth Qld for this)My Cost Estimates for repair were passed on to Suncorp(also QBE, Wesfarmers and Westpac), via Lendlease . Involved with applying for BA's, Engineering certificates and full ordering of materials for the repair work. Managed & directed Supervisors, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. Also approved Progress Claims in conjunction with our Accounts Team.Full liaison with Insured Parties & other stakeholders.In the two years processed and repaired approximately 100 buildings from residential to Small Commercial (eg shopping centres, pubs, Motels) Show less
