      Software Engineer

Once completing my bootcamp, I contacted a local nonprofit in Chattanooga to see if they needed any help. This is a volunteer role.White Oak Bike Co-op's mission is simple: receive bicycles as donations, repair them, then donate them to a child, all for free.- Building a RESTful API using Node and Express. This API handles registration and login flows, alongside CRUD operations for all bikes that are donated. The team is able to keep better track of their inventory.- Designing and building a React application with mobile-first thoughtfulness. Currently, this app allows the volunteers to perform CRUD operations on the bikes, while interacting with the RESTful API that I am hosting on Heroku. Show less
