      - My group and I worked on a Martian Rover simulation in Unity, a single neural network (binary classifier), and a multi-layered neural network designed to identify someone’s ethnicity based on facial features, height, and gender.- The “ethnicity identifier” uses multiple neurons to process data from Clear Horizons Students. Since the demographics of our school was skewed, we used a script to create thousands of records of the 7 main ethnicities instead of the 24 we were originally planning. One innovative technique was that for a data structure we segmented the hexadecimal into 4 so that it could hold 4 features instead of 1, saving processing time and speed.- The binary classifier used a Sigmoid curve as the activation function and only was a single neuron.- The Mars Rover Simulation was done on Unity and had different features including a feature to pick up rocks, run on solar energy, a day/night cycle, “fog” (opacity), speed, and an in-game clock which was adjustable using a slider. - Presented to San Jacinto Professors and Department Chair as well as a lead developer in industry Show less
