  • Education

    • McMaster University

      2011 - 2014
Honours Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour Music Cognition Specialization
    • The University of Western Ontario

      2008 - 2010
      Masters of Music Flute Performance

I studied flute performance with the intent of becoming a studio musician for movies and video games. Though my dreams went a different way afterwards, this experience taught me grit, the value of hard work, and how to face an audience no matter the circumstance.

    • McMaster University

      2016 - 2017
Master of Science - MS Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour

      • Gained valuable skills in statistics and science communication resulting in my first ever conference presentation at SMPC in San Diego where I rubbed shoulders with pioneers in the field of music cognition.• My thesis addressed a possible confound in previous literature and ended up confirming key assumptions made there: that our memory for music does decay over time and is not subject to interference from distracting musical information.Check out my thesis below!
