  Intern Direction assistant

  During my internship I had to report to our headquarter in Sydney and also communicate with our international offices in Auckland and Vancouver to ensure every branch is following the companies guidelines and principals. I had the advantage to work in a multicultural team with Australian, German, Lebanese, Japanese and French nationalities. One of my most challenging missions was handling the "Employer partnerships" : I had to create partnerships with employers to help our customers to find jobs. This included the research of specific companies, contacting the responsible person in a professional manner via email and phone, and convincing them how beneficial a partnership with our company would be. The advantage of my new partnerships was that we could increase the job placement for our customers, the Working Holiday Makers. I was also the first point of contact for our french-speaking customers, which means I had to held presentations during the orientation days and assist them for any kind of questions for their program in Australia. During the entire internship I was working closely with my supervisor, who was the branch manager. I was able to gain a good insight in the management part of the business, while assisting the branch manager in her daily routine. I was also succesfully involved in organising team events such as Daytrips for up to 5 people, including management. Show less
