Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a dynamic 15 week course that focuses on understanding what God is doing in the world so we can join Him. The course brings in a different speaker each weeks lesson. The course work centers around the Perspectives reader and workbook totaling about 800 pages of material covered over the course. There is required reading and homework including reviews that are graded for each weeks lesson. This class represents a serious commitment for adult students. I have been involved with Perspectives for 7 years now. My journey has lead to Coordinating 2 classes; one in 2013 and one in 2016. My home Church, Northshore Community Church, has hosted both classes and helped tremendously in promoting and recruiingt a dynamic core team to put each of the classes on. Successful classes are created by recruiting a diverse team from the larger community and includes graders and other volunteers to help each week. Class attendance averaged above 60 students weekly and about 1/3 of the students completed all requirements to receive a certificate. Show less
