  Originally started with Vosper Thornycroft UK, as a Light Plater and worked my way up to Planning for the last 8 years before volunteering for redundancy to start my own business.Working as a Detail Planner in the Pipe shop Department, one of my main responsibilities included maintaining and daily updating of 12 week look ahead demand for pipe installation on Queen Elizabeth Class Carrier Programme and ensuring on time delivery of pipework.Also• Daily progress reports to stakeholders.• Daily meeting with shop floor Manager and Leads to address any issues arising.• Liaising with Change team, managing and processing change.• Liaising with Drawing Office with any production queries.• Identifying possible delays of items to ship and solving issue.• Maintaining dialogue with project planners to understand any changes to planned delivery.• Processing work packs for shop floor manufacture.I had also been identified as a possible Lead Planner and was undergoing on the job tuition.
