Mar 2008 - Feb 2015Developed and built sales techniques and stratagies for outbound sales campaigns across the United States. I ran and developed leadership and outbound sales agents in two call centers based out of Itasca, Illinois and Corona California. I worked with directly with General Managers in over a dozen states to facilitate targeted marketing campaigns to existing, current, lapsed, and prospective customers.Script writing, Marketing List Purchasing and Acquisition, Staffing, Training, Compliance, Compliance Seminars, and cross department legal and marketing work were handled by me directly while offers and final approvals were worked on between myself and the Geneeral Managers of ARS branches across the country. May 2015 - Feb 2021Training - Developing and building a world class training team that could educate new and existing employees on past, current, and future products from SimpliSafe. Working closely with our Engineering department I developed relationships between Project Managers, Camera Architects, and bridged the gap to our internal training team. Successfully implemented Andragogy and Adult Learning Theory to elevate training sessions and materials. Other responsibilities included training the trainers within our BPO Vendors along with kick starting and developing a new internal training team for a new office in Virginia. For the first time within SimpliSafe history new senior roles were created based on the skills and proficiencies of members of the training team, opening new opportunities for growth and development.Quality Assurance - Developing and building out new standards for what quality assurance meant at SimpliSafe, I oversaw multiple transitions of QA testing methods and incorporated the knowledge library of the training team's development with the Quality Assurance team, and what it was that they were specifically looking for. This closed the loop between our Engineering, Product, Marketing, Training, Content, and Quality teams at SimpliSafe. Developing leadership within this role was critical as well as I opened new doors of development for the leadership within QA at SimpliSafe.Content Creation - After assessing a need for a common unified voice within all training and internal knowledge databases, a new team was created that I was tasked with staffing and developing. Bringing on a content writer ensured that a singular narrative voice would be conveyed to customers, staff, and retroactively to our internal knowledge databases. This work included cross department relationships with marketing and engineering teams to ensure that a voice beyond a style sheet could be actualized, scaled, and incorporated deeply within the business. Show less Scaled, Developed, and Drove 9 Technical Support teams within SimpliSafe to have the highest overall CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) NPS (Net Promoter Scores) Employee Engagement (ESAT) and Employee Satisfaction Scores for 19/20 months within the role. There were a total of 5 such departments within SimpliSafe during this time as the company developed into its status as a Unicorn.I took great satisfaction trying new and fresh approaches to leadership within SimpliSafe while in this role, working with every member of the 9 teams to understand their professional goals, and how I could better assist their own supervisors and team leads in developing them into future leaders for the company. I greatly attribute this to being the reason why my department saw the highest promotion rates within my nearly six years with the company and was also attributed to my further growth into my next role at SimpliSafe. Show less Assisted in and developed new employee engagement and acquisition stratagies to scale operations from 73 staff members to over 700 within less than 3 years. The role also acted as Human Resources and Training for the company as SimpliSafe did not have a dedicated departments at the time within operations as it was growing at a very robust rate.Advising growth at nearly every level of operations was a thrilling and satisfying role. There was never an empty moment in the day. One of my major accomplishment that I brought to this role was overhauling the hiring practices to bring a higher volume of staff into the company. It required new levels of team work and cooperation that had never been tried before, but the freedom to blend my professional experience with the trust and backing of strong leaders made this an extremely rewarding role.Other accomplishments within this role were found in developing strong and fair employee development programs early on that were equitable and represented a safe and inclusive work environment. These traits were attributed to my further growth within the company to be the first growth advisor within company history to become an operations manager. Show less
