  Teaching Assistant Seasonal Student Day of Journalism

  -As a teaching assistant, I've taken the opportunity to served students at Student Day of Journalism. In the beginning, I'm just a alumni who gained called from Journalism teacher, her name is Mrs. Dian Adesti. Then I spread my ideas and knowledges based on work experience in Journalism field. -This seasonal role was still continue, and gained to teaching journalism students. The subject is closely related of creative writing, interview technique, and editing before publish to the platform. -On May 17, 2025, I lead the class as a Teaching Assistant to taught them about find ideas or through well-known brainstorming technique. This ideas aims to gathered students and share many ideas also solve problems before execute. Brainstorming it still closely in the journalism or so many ways to make a creative stuff. It's a strive to bringing them together and each students can spread ideas, challenge, and research regarding of Target Audience.-It's not full-time teaching, it's seasonal depends on being called if necessary.   -It's a new role that I've obtained in 2025, in the new year. After got a pass selection in last December on 2024 years ago, I didn't expect that I'm being Social Media Specialist for first time after compiled work experience as a journalism previously. -Start in early, I just make the ideas for the content that related about literacy in Indonesia in temporary.-And It's a volunteer and it's not about professional like another roles that doing contribution in the companies. But it's something cool that I can gain of Social Media Specialist role and utilize the tools. I'll be making something bigger for this big community in literacy field.-I deemed this role not volunteer only instead, but it would be a side project.-Crafting an content like Instagram reels, carousel, and make a copywriting to bolster the contents. -I'm dealing content for "Sabtu Sajak" with various poetry and poets. Where I should research of poetry that can related for audiences, especially Indonesia Book Party and Jakarta Book Party.-During my tenure, I operated Jakarta Book Party on Instagram, it's a regional branch under Indonesia Book Party. Me with teams ensure this account gained a good insight and make a new audience curious of JBP content. We've succeeded enhance followers untill 11K.-Currently involved Karena Buku campaign to attract new audiences on Instagram, and some content attempts to respond based on their concern, especially their feelings after read a books.   -Taught the students in English section with specific lessons in a conversation to build their confidence to speak. -During the class, as a teacher I had aimed to encourage themselves to be able to speak, started with introduce themselves, guess the jobs in English, also their dreams. -English section with Kasih Gantari was emphasized that English is so fun. Do not burden them. -The section applied an system to guided them with simple lessons through reading and speaking. -Supported mission for Kasih Gantari to ensure that education field still growing. -I filled the English class under the Kasih Gantari organization on November 8, 2025. And during the class, I'd driven them to get on stage and encouraged their audacity to speak to friends and orphan participants. Also, cultivate to memorize with simple words in English. Show less
