  • Actively participated in a project-based NHS placement looking at the emerging role of occupational therapy within Central Scotland Adventures and particularly researching the social and emotional benefits of paddle boarding. Research demonstrated in a literature review and final presentation.• Completed various SOAP notes, reflections and engaged with patients whilst paddle boarding to assess and consider various adaptions (equipment, contextual, environmental) to consider methods of making the activity more inclusive to support individual mental and physical health needs, for example, Vertigo, recent hip replacement, fibromyalgia, congenital amputation, depression and anxiety.
