The philosophy at ACCO is for project managers to take all their projects cradle to grave. The same project manager that estimated and sold the job will close out the construction paperwork. This allows us to provide the best service possible to our customers. When ACCO is running a project for you as the client, work scope will always be well understood because the person that estimated the job will be running it.I have knowledge on HVAC ductwork and piping, vibration isolation, equipment startup, AutoCAD, equipment operation, HVAC design, controls, and constructability. Show less The general design engineer process and responsibilities involve taking a new or existing building that needs an HVAC system designed for it, and producing documentation (typically drawings) that communicate that design to our field personnel. This allows our field to then build and/or install the designed system with the help of my engineered drawings. Some more specific responsibilities include running building loads, laying out ductwork and piping systems, equipment layout, obtaining and approving submittals, pulling permits, creating drawing sets, and assisting field personnel with questions and problems.
