Show less During my first rotation I developed and deployed SQL packages to UHC's provider and claims databases. I wrote three new procedures to assist with ETL that were successfully deployed to production. I also worked on two defects where I deployed a solution that also tuned the existing queries, and I made multiple deployments on table structure changes.Highlights:- I increased the number of records being processed per second in an existing package by ~21%. While building a stored procedure in Oracle I found an issue with the package my procedure would be a child to, corrected the issue, and the runtime was improved.- I reduced the time it takes to do a particular routine request by 81% by building three re-useable procedures in Oracle. A job that would normally have taken thirty-two billable hours can now be done in six. Show less
