I was then honored with a promotion to the role of assistant Market Manager at the age of 23 years old. Recognizing my abilities, I achieved another milestone by becoming a meat market manager at the age of 26. As a market manager, my responsibilities included overseeing various aspects of the store operations. This encompassed tasks such as creating schedules, conducting training sessions, and ensuring proper product ordering for sale specials. It was my duty to meet weekly sales goals and implement strategies to boost sales while minimizing shrinkage by organizing and enhancing the presentation of meat counters, lunchmeat cases, and freezer cases. Additionally, I was entrusted with managing a wide range of products, ranging from frozen food to fresh meat, and adapting to seasonal changes. Meeting company guidelines, I diligently maintained purchase-to-sales ratios as part of my role as a market managerI successfully completed the Safe Food Managers training course and obtained my certification. Moreover, I consistently maintained an above-average profit margin, which showcased my adeptness in managing financial aspects.
