Making it possible for some of our remote communities to have access to health care; some communities without drinking water now have access to safe drinking water within reasonable distance; some of our schools now provide better environment for learning etc.ii. Through the mechanism of Conditional Grant Scheme (CGS), demonstrated that deep and meaningful collaboration towards the shared MDGs agenda is possible and that improved coordination can be readily achieved.iii. With 113, 148 and 250 LGAs benefited and is benefitting from CGS-LGA in 2011, 2012 and 2013 respectively, Nigeria is now one of the countries in the developing world that possess detail database of public health care, education and water facilities.iv. Undertaken the ambitious task of expanding the Scheme to benefit the remaining 263 LGAs which brought the knowledge of benefits of poverty reduction to every Nigerian.v. Strengthen intergovernmental collaboration and coordination among Federal, States and Local Governments.vi. Ensuring sustainable development and accountable governance leading to unprecedented investment in local communities.vii.
