  As an RA, I work to build community throughout the floor through community nights and 1:1 interactions. I also help manage floor conflicts as they arise and provide myself as a resource in sensitive situations. As a tutor, I work with students at all stages of the writing process (from brainstorming to editing). Students can come in with papers from all subjects--including lab reports for science classes. The writing center also accepts students from all degree levels (undergrad, grad, and PhD). When I am not tutoring, I work as a receptionist at the desk, helping students schedule meetings and performing various clerical tasks. Assist and communicate with students and an instructor in using Excel, Teams, D2L, and SIMnet. Encourage students to succeed, schedule assignments, enter grades into D2L, and grade some Excel assignments using an answer key.
