Created BOMs from drawings and routings in conjunction withproduction supervisors, created data files for import and tested results in planning and MRP modules.• Project managed selection and implementation of Jetcam autonesting software, leading to material cost savings of £100k per annum, with return on investment in less than 6 months.• Wrote and implemented standard operation procedures across 13 mixed model production lines• From video of operators working, recorded detailed element times for assembly operations, then used these in line balancingactivities to improve output and reduce operators. Overall 10% reduction in operators for same level of output.• Attended training courses and wrote standard operating procedures for setting, maintenance and operation of press-brakes and profiling machines. Set up training matrices to enable team leaders to monitor training needs in the department.• Continuous improvement activities including writing of standard operating procedures, line balance activities and introduction of product improvements to production area.• Collation and interpretation of KPI and NRFT data, updating QCD board and identifying key priorities in weekly production meeting• Improvements in incoming goods quality through root cause investigation and working with suppliers to improve processes• Liaison between customer care, distributors, customers, Operations manager and Business development manager to ensurecomplaints dealt with quickly and cost effectively.
