      I was attached to the quality assurance department working on getting Joint Commission International (JCI) standard for the hospital. I was in charge of the Medication Management and Use (MMU) chapter and was responsible for making sure the drug ordering system of the hospital was being used by the doctors to order medication as well as the pharmacy was maintained properly according to JCI standards. It was quite a demanding and tedious process but it gave me insight as to how hospital drug systems should be managed according to international standards. Show less
