  Straight out of school I jumped at an opportunity for a traineeship at Attentia. I started out as a payroll account manager and quickly made the switch to a more technical role as Application Consultant. This role was combined with a Project Leader component that became more prominent over the years. In the almost 8 years I worked at Attentia I learned how to do functional analysis, think analytically, monitor scope and budget, fine tune my communication skills, work in a multidisciplinary team, give training to peers or clients and present in client board meetings. Tasks as a project leader: * Translate the customers’ needs to a perfect implementation in the Attentia system (payroll software with modules such as: application for leave, benefit panel, time registration, accounting,…)* Manage projects using the Attentia own TASTE-methodology (PMBOK based). Key aspects with this are monitoring of the scope, the budget, the timing and the quality. * Close cooperation with clients, internal partners and colleagues (IT, account managers, legal services, customer service helpdesk and relationship managers) are day to day matters. * Support and consulting of the client for questions related to the payroll applications. * Implementation of the payroll software and related applications. * Provide onsite and classroom training and formation. In this role I manage multiple cross-country accounts who we service for SEA, SEO, CRO, Analytics, etc. as a full-service agency. Over the years I have further developed my project management skills so that today I stand strong in budget follow-up, resource planning, scope definition and monitoring, motivating my team, monitoring quality of the deliverables, client and team communications, business analysis and long-term planning.
