      As part of the on-call roster, I was responsible for handling media enquiries in relation to power outages. This included the Christmas-New Year period over 2019/20 where around 3,000 homes were without power because of fires. I represented the organisation for live on-air radio interviews with ABC Local Radio, provided comments to media outlets and communicated outage updates to stakeholders via social media. I was responsible for managing the digital presence of a proposed energy project named Marinus Link. This including creating and managing social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter and Linked In, and the project website. I also oversaw digital content creation. My role saw me assisting with community engagement and media events.
