Planned, organized, and managed 13 projects, aligning them with customer requirements. Drove project progress through task and stakeholder management, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and timely delivery of project outcomes. Coordinated daily with six cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while monitoring resources and dependencies.Key Accomplishments:Jira Workflow Implementation: Led the design and deployment of a comprehensive Jira workflow across seven departments, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements. Developed and tested the MVP, trained 50 personnel, and facilitated executive buy-in through demos. Result: Eliminated a five-year backlog of 50+ overdue tasks, reduced processing time by 200%, and established a new standard process for the 480th Wing.VoIP Infrastructure Upgrade: Managed the upgrade of the Group’s Top Secret VoIP infrastructure and migrated services from a 3rd party 60 days ahead of schedule. Created a work breakdown structure, defined tasks, developed the project schedule, and managed communication and risk. Collaborated with teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure resource availability and project completion. Result: Enhanced communication for 2,000 warfighters, prevented loss of TS VoIP capabilities, and saved $24K annually. Show less Managed a cyber security program for a $600M weapon system, including integrating, planning, acquiring, testing, and maintaining $300K worth of IT assets. Recommended defense strategies to higher executives, led network security evaluations, and coordinated equipment support, ensuring smooth operations and readiness for global missions.Key Accomplishments:● Upgraded the cybersecurity toolkit. Procured and set-up the necessary hardware including cabinets, racks, ESXi servers, switches, and client systems. Configured the switch to provide connectivity between the ESXi servers, client systems, and other network devices. Set up VLANs and subnets to segment network traffic and isolate the cybersecurity toolkit from other network segments. Created virtual machines (VMs) on the ESXi servers to host the cybersecurity tools including the virtual firewall, sensors, and the scanning, detection, and logging software. Result: Enabled the execution of wing-level cyber defense operations, authored two Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for future operators, and enhanced Wing Commander’s awareness of Cyber threats across the enterprise. ● Led a 15-man team specializing in synthesizing, analyzing, and correlating intelligence data. Collaborated with two organizations to develop defense plans for communications and intelligence systems and crafted procedures for defending against cyber threats. Result: Established a foundational security framework for future operations to maintain operational security. Show less Supervised a team of three Airmen, drove critical system upgrades, and supported the maintenance of five network enclaves, ensuring voice and data communications delivery to seven squadrons supporting warfighters and Combatant Commands. Coordinated mission planning with 21 DoD cyber contractors to support intelligence exploitation across 27 sites worldwide.Key Accomplishments:● Managed the Communications Security (COMSEC) program, overseeing all aspects of cryptographic key management, equipment maintenance, and security protocols. Updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current Wing standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with COMSEC policies and procedures. Result: Proactively addressed 19 existing write-ups identified during past inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions and training initiatives to enhance COMSEC practices and mitigate security risks. Additionally, the squadron achieved a flawless performance during a comprehensive wing inspection. ● Created and implemented a customized weapon system ticket tracker in Microsoft Excel, streamlining the handling of workplace requests for a team of 19 personnel. Coordinated with three organizations to ensure smooth workflow integration. Result: Successfully resolved 228 tickets, effectively eliminating a significant six-month backlog. This initiative optimized operational efficiency, enhanced team collaboration, and improved workplace productivity. Show less As a Data Center Operations Supervisor, I managed a 12-member team, administered, updated, and secured SIPR/NIPR enclaves, overseeing vulnerability, application, and configuration management for 4.1K network objects. Managed service, maintenance, and patching for 43 servers and a 28 TB SAN, ensuring data integrity for the 35th Fighter Wing and tenant units.Key Accomplishments:● Developed a PowerShell-based anti-virus script to streamline patching procedures for 4.1K network objects, revolutionizing the process by implementing multithreading pinging (parallel ping) and categorizing devices based on real-time communication status. Utilized non-pingable devices for SIPR Uptime requirements and proactive troubleshooting while collaborating with ACAS vulnerability scans to pinpoint patch requirements and zero-day vulnerabilities for pingable devices. Successfully patched pingable objects, executed verification checks, and generated customized metrics on network vulnerabilities and device status. Result: Heightened squadron leadership awareness of cyber threats, fortified network security, and elevated technician skills by creating standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for PACAF compliance. Additionally, effectively addressed 11K Cat I vulnerabilities and saved more than 156 man-hours annually. ● Diagnosed and repaired connectivity issues between the site ACAS scanners and network assets. Conducted thorough hardware inspections, analyzed network configurations, and adjusted network settings to ensure optimal communication. Testing procedures were then employed to validate the effectiveness of the repairs, including network connectivity tests and protocol analysis. Result: Restored connectivity and integration of the ACAS scanner with the network infrastructure and established weekly NESSUS and STIG scanning of 100% of Misawa AB network assets. Show less As a Information Technology Help Desk Technician, I managed equipment, communication systems, networks, and customer requests to ensure reliable and secure communication capabilities for the 35th Fighter Wing.Key Accomplishments:● Successfully managed the Directives Management program, overseeing a team of six technicians and coordinating with seven teams to complete 330 requirements, implementing efficient tracking standards that reduced the backlog by 76%. Result: Positioned the program as the top performer in PACAF and became the standard for technical order processing.● Built an executive script that created a list of administrative accounts configured not to need two-factor authentication (2FA) and then configured the user account to require 2FA. Wrote two SOPs and trained a six-member team. Result: Rectified irregular administrative accounts, mitigating 300 annual CAT1 vulnerabilities and ensuring network compliance. Show less As a Data Center Operations Specialist, I managed the support and maintenance of data center systems, client systems, and software applications relevant to the 35th Fighter Wing. Additionally, ensured that current defensive mechanisms were in place to safeguard the network.Key Accomplishments:● Identified a network outage affecting communication, collaborated with six bases, and created a centralized ticket. Result: Successfully resolved the issue in under 8 hours, restoring communication capabilities for the Mission Assurance Board.● Coordinated system upgrade preparation by integrating 100 objects into four AD groups during Beta testing, ensuring compatibility and functionality within the AD framework. Result: This proactive measure safeguarded the integrity of the Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) for 3.5K devices, increasing network security and enhancing operational efficiency. Show less
