      Developer Intern

During my internship at WeThinkCode_ I was part of a team that looked after and guided prospecting students in the bootcamp that is part of the selection for WeThinkCode_, I was part of 4 bootcamps.I had to make sure that the students knew what was expected of them and guided them.I was the leader of pods which consisted of around 50 students, I had to make sure that students were following orders correctly and had to keep an eye out for specific talent. At the end of each bootcamp I was part of the selection team for selecting new students. While I was working with students I was also given a project which was to code a cheat detection application which would compare students work to code on the web and alert staff to plagiarism.During this time I was given many tasks which I managed very well by time blocking and making notes constantly. Technical Tutor

The duties of being a Technical tutor entails managing a small group of 1st year students (6).I set up daily meetings with individuals and weekly group meetings. In the daily meetings I sit one on one with a student and go through a checklist that I set up which includes: How far they are with their current project, what their challenges are, what their plan of action is and to also help with specific code. Weekly meetings are set up so that each student presents their work to their peers and myself. I can then see how far the group is and how individuals are faring and can then make adjustments according to their current needs. Show less
