      Property Claims Service Analyst

I worked as a licensed residential property adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company, covering Central and Eastern North Carolina. My daily duties involved end to end claim handling. I efficiently contacted homeowners, contractors, and necessary vendors to properly coordinate claim inspections. I conducted the necessary claim research to ensure the proper coverage decisions were applied. During my inspections, I provided the utmost customer service not only to my customers, but also to their contractor’s and vendors. I effectively utilized third party vendors to provide expert reporting and services by working closely with their project managers and technicians. In fulfillment of Allstate’s expectations, I settled all possible claims onsite with the customer; I was required to meticulously inspect the property, create a precise scope of loss, and produce a thorough and accurate restoration estimate. To set the proper expectations and ensure my customers were not left with questions, I discussed the coverage provided by the customer’s policy, required repairs to restore their property, settlements, and the overall claims process. Within 24 hours of settling the claim, I was required to thoroughly document all findings, upload all estimates and photos, and send all official correspondence. Beyond my daily claim inspections, I also handled my own customer inquiries, and negotiated estimates and settlements with contractors and vendors.I spent the first 10 months of my career at Allstate Insurance working as an adjuster on their National Catastrophe Team, handling claims in Texas, Colorado, Ohio, Washington, Virginia, Georgia, Arkansas, Indiana, and Illinois. During this time I traveled to these difference states on 10 day deployments, handling both catastrophe and daily claims. Show less
